What Surgiderm Is Made Of:

Surgiderm® 24XP is composed of non animal stabilized hyaluronic acid (NaHA).

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is normally produced by the body and is what gives skin its volume and fullness.

Risks & Complications:

As a dermal filler, Surgiderm® 24XP has the same risks associated as with other dermal fillers. Risks can include a small risk of allergic reaction to the filler or bruising of the treated area. Bleeding, tenderness and small amounts of pain may also occur. People with a history of cold sores may experience a recurrence after treatment, although this can be minimised by the use of antiviral medicines.
